What happens if a check-in is missed?
MeetSafe first prompts the person to check in. If the check-in remains unresolved, their chosen trusted contact can be alerted so they can call, message, or decide what action is appropriate.
Important limits
MeetSafe is not emergency services and does not promise rescue or response. It should complement, not replace, appropriate medical alarms, emergency services, welfare plans, or other safety equipment where those are needed.
Alert delivery can fail or be delayed because of device settings, network availability, permissions, service availability, or whether a trusted contact is available.

The person performing the twice-daily check-ins needs the Pro-enabled account. Trusted contacts follow MeetSafe’s normal contact and notification flow.

No. Twice-daily check-ins are available with MeetSafe Pro.
Who needs to install MeetSafe?
The person completing the morning and evening check-ins needs MeetSafe and a Pro-enabled account. They choose a trusted contact in MeetSafe. Alerts use the normal MeetSafe notification flow: app-based notifications first, with SMS fallback potentially available for eligible Pro accounts. Delivery is not guaranteed, so contact details and notification settings should be checked before relying on the routine.
Does MeetSafe constantly track location?
No. MeetSafe is designed around safety check-ins, not constant monitoring or a live map. Location is not required for twice-daily check-ins to provide value.
What happens if a check-in is missed?
